Lloyd Isgrove is an English/Welsh winger who was born in Yeovil on 12th January 1993. Isgrove is a tricky skilful player with a fair amount of pace. He worked his way up the ranks at Southampton since his arrival as a nine year old. Isgrove was a regular for the Saints U21 side since 2011/12. He made his first team debut as a substitute against Leeds on 30th October 2012. Isgrove made a big impact in the Carling Cup defeat, adding a lot of energy to a previous static attack. He lost a bit of momentum following that display, suffering an injury early on in a game at Tottenham. Isgrove represented Wales at U21 level, providing a couple of assists in a win over Iceland. He ended the U21 campaign in good form. Isgrove was regularly trained with the first team in early 2013. He was in the squad for the penultimate game at Sunderland and on the bench for the final day draw against Stoke.
